The Old Testament is an account of a nation, (the Jewish nation, Israe). Beginning with Hosea and concluding with Malachi, there are twelve short prophecies designated as the Minor Prophets. The Minor Prophets are so-called because of the size of the books, not because of their content. In our studying of these books, we find they are very descriptive of the indifference concerning the things of God like we see in our culture today. In our studies, including class discussions, we learn much about the nation of Israel concerning God's sovereignty, God's judgment, and the establishment of end-time events. At the same time, the relation of biblical end time events as related to the events of the 21st century. Questions and open discussion are welcomed with application being the goal of our study. Food and fellowship precedes class. There is open concern for classmates, prayer for needs, and praise for answers. This is a class that helps support one another like family.
